First, open the Installer folder of Black Salt Audio and install all *.pkg plugins here.

Next, open the Path folder, copy all files in the AU folder to the path:

/Libary/Audio/Plug-in/Components

Copy all files in the VST3 folder to the path:

/Libary/Audio/Plug-in/VST3

Select Apply to all and Relace to replace all.

Open the DAW and check if the plugin is working, if the plugin no longer says active then you have succeeded, enjoy the results.

III. Instructions for basic adjustment buttons on Black Salt Audio plugin interface

1. BSAClipper:
   • Threshold: Adjust the cutting threshold, determine the level of cutting of the sound.
   • Output Gain: Adjusts the sound level after cutting.
   • Clip Mode: Select the clipping mode, including Soft, Hard, and Brick.
   • Oversampling: Turn on/off the Oversampling function to improve sound quality.
2. Escalator:
   • Room Size: Adjust the size of the room space.
   • Pre-Delay: Adjust the delay time before the sound begins to reflect.
   • Decay: Adjust the speed of negative fade after reflection.
   • Damping: Adjust the attenuation of high frequencies in the room space.
   • Mix: Adjust the ratio between the original sound and the reflected sound.
3. LowControl:
   • Low Gain: Adjust the gain/loss of low frequencies.
   • Frequency: Select the frequency to be adjusted.
   • Q: Adjust the width of the frequency stopband.
   • Output Gain: Adjusts the sound level after going through the adjustment process.
4. Oxygen:
   • Brightness: Adjust the brightness level of the sound.
   • Exciter: Activate/deactivate the Exciter function to create a brighter effect.
   • Saturation: Adjust the saturation level of the sound.
   • Output Gain: Adjusts the sound level after going through the adjustment process.
5. Reviver:
   • Detail: Adjusts the level at which lost audio details are restored.
   • Brightness: Adjust the brightness level of the sound after the cleaning process.
   • Output Gain: Adjusts the sound level after the cleaning process.
6. Silencer:
   • Threshold: Adjust the gate threshold, determine the level of noise suppression.
   • Attack: Adjust gate reaction time.
   • Release: Adjust the stop time of the gate after activation.
   • Dry/Wet Mix: Adjusts the ratio between the original sound and the gate sound.
7. Telofi:
   • Saturation: Adjust the saturation level of the sound.
   • Noise: Adjust the noise level to create a retro effect.
   • Output Gain: Adjusts the sound level after processing.
